Where are you from / call home?
“I grew up close to nature, in a small village in the north of the Netherlands. From my old bedroom, I could see the trees, the beautiful forest. I really loved that and it felt like total freedom for me as a kid. Lucky for me my parents still live in that house and I live close by, so I often go to the seaside and wander into nature. I still love to be surrounded by the sea and the forest. That’s what I call home.”

The PLAY series 2019-2020
A unique artwork collection born out of two minds with similar values, working in different fields.

The PLAY-series combines July's minimalistic shapes with Gray Label's latest colours and provides a range of artworks that can be mixed and matched or stunningly stand alone. In line with both creative minds, this series leaves space to balance every environment and to unfold what is wished to be seen into it.

Collaboration Gray Label
For this wonderful collaboration with Gray Label (organic fashion brand for little minimalists) I created a print, following up with a new Art series; the PLAY series. Soon (from October 28) this series will be available exclusively through the online shop and new Gray Label store at the Huidenstraat!

New Studio in Amsterdam!
Hi there!
Good news; JULY® moved to a wonderful new studio space in Amsterdam! It is located in the wonderful and brand-new showroom from Grand & Johnson (Interior Design Studio) in 'De Hallen Amsterdam'. The final finishes are in full swing and in a couple of weeks it will look even more prettier. Soon more details!

ARTWORK // JULY® FOR AVENUE DESIGN STUDIO
Interior Design, Styling & Photography by Avenue Design Studio
Commissioned by Avenue Design Studio, JULY® made this graphic oil on linen duo with fine lined detailing and exposed linen edges. Details were finalized, working closely with Holly and Hedda from the Avenue Studio. The two pieces were mounted in floating oak frames and the results of this total project are really stunning!
